PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: May 8, 2026

AZ Mobile Diesel Repair ("AZMDR," "we," "us") provides mobile diesel repair services across Arizona. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from customers, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. What We Collect

When you request service from us, we collect:

  • Contact information — your name, phone number, and email address (if provided)
  • Vehicle information — year, make, model, VIN (if provided), and a description of the issue
  • Location information — the address or location where your vehicle is, including geolocation if you choose to share it
  • Service photos — photos you upload (or that our technician takes) related to the repair
  • Payment information — processed and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Communication history — text messages and notes related to your service request

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Dispatch a technician to your vehicle
  • Send service updates by text message (dispatch confirmation, arrival ETA, parts updates, invoice delivery)
  • Generate and deliver invoices
  • Maintain a service history record so we can serve you faster on future jobs
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations

We do not use your information for marketing or advertising. We do not sell your information to anyone.

3. SMS Messaging

If you opt in to SMS updates (by checking the consent box on our service request form, or by giving verbal consent during a phone call), we will send you text messages related to your active service request. Message frequency varies per job (typically 3–10 messages per service request). Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

We use Twilio as our SMS service provider. Your phone number is shared with Twilio only for the purpose of delivering these messages.

4. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with service providers who help us deliver our service:

  • Stripe — for payment processing
  • Twilio — for SMS delivery
  • Supabase — for secure data storage
  • Our technicians and dispatchers — for completing your repair

Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We do not share your information with marketing partners or third-party advertisers.

We may also disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order, or to protect rights and safety).

5. How Long We Keep Information

We retain customer service records for as long as needed to maintain a service history and meet tax and legal obligations (typically 7 years). Communication records (text messages, photos) are retained for the life of the customer relationship unless you request deletion.

6. Your Rights

You can:

  • Request a copy of the information we have about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, restricted access, and audited service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we materially change this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify customers directly.
